Social Media
Do you Tweet, FB, Digg, and Blog? We are looking for wired people who’d be interested in contributing to our WIGeh online presence. Whether it is writing feature articles or promoting upcoming events within your network, your voice is needed to spread the WIGeh word.
This committee will report on and discuss topics pertinent to the women in the game community. We will curate relevant and interesting articles from the interweb for our Twitter followers and Facebook fans. We will reach out to the industry by broadcasting upcoming WIGeh events through social networks. We will celebrate our victories and cheer each other on. We will encourage women who want to be in games to join us.
Over the next 12 months, the social media committee will sustain and grow a strong online community of women. By engaging both new recruits and old pros alike, we will spread WIGeh activism and support the inclusion and advancement of women in games.
