Women In Games Vancouver (WIGeh) was created to forward the INCLUSION and ADVANCEMENT of women in the games industry. Its purpose is to support the continuing growth of the industry, and allow for discussion and debate of key issues involving all members of the development community.

2003 Disney introduces a strong mandate to introduce girls to gaming via handheld platforms

2008 Action Pants Inc’s (now Ubisoft Vancouver) team is 40% women
